Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Al Zaben and UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) Representative Andrew Harper on Thursday discussed ways to maintain and boost cooperation and coordination between the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) and the UNHCR.
During a meeting with Harper and an accompanying delegation, discussions focused on the JAF’s services and assistance to facilitate the entry of Syrian refugees into Jordan.
Since the beginning of the crisis in Syria, JAF has been working to alleviate the suffering of Syrian refugees and to ensure that they receive basic needs.
