[Jordan] Official: New Anti-Trafficking law adopted - Law 9/2009 of 01/03/09

The law has three major parts:

- The definition of the Trafficking Crime.

- The constitution of the "National Committee of Anti Trafficking in Persons" which constitutes of members from different Ministries and Governmental bodies ( ministries: of interior, of labor, of social development, of foreign affairs, of trade and industry. the public security directorate, national center for human rights and national council of Family) under the umbrella of the ministry of justice.

- The penalties for the different forms of the Anti- Trafficking crime.
