Hundreds of thousands hit hard by record low temperatures across the Middle East.
The United Nations Refugee agency says there could be more than four million Syrians living as refugees by the end of 2015.

Hundreds of thousands have been sleeping in makeshift tents and homes along the Lebanese-Syrian border.
Four Syrians have already died from the cold, including two children.
