[Cyprus] InCyprus - New residence permits issued for third country nationals

The Civil Registry and Migration Department (CRMD) announced on Tuesday that from September 29 it will begin issuing new biometric residence permits for third country nationals.
The permits are compulsory for all third country nationals planning to visit Cyprus for work or study, while those already on the island will be required to resubmit an application to the CRMD for the new document and pay a €10 fee.
The new permits, which look similar to an identity card, display the holder’s biometrics, including a digital face photo, a fingerprint and their signature.
Further information in Greek and English is available at: www.gove.cy/crmd.
