[Somalia/Australia]: The Guardian - Asylum seeker boat thought to be carrying Somalians arrives in Darwin

An asylum seeker boat arrived in Darwin on Monday night carrying an unknown number of people, Guardian Australia has learned.

The passengers are thought to be from Somalia and include children. Blaydin alternative place of detention is a centre for families.

Under current government policy the asylum seekers are expected to be transferred to Manus Island or Nauru within 48 hours.
