“The party calls for reestablishing power through a responsible cabinet … capable of officially addressing the international community to present Lebanon’s urgent demands to face the economic difficulties and risks resulting from the Syrian crisis and the refugees file,” the Kataeb party said on Monday in its weekly statement.
The party also called for “multiplying international efforts and expediting foreign states’ hosting of refugees.”
The UN refugee agency UNHCR has registered more than 779,000 Syrians in Lebanon, though many others remain unregistered.
