Net migration to the UK has fallen by a
quarter in the last year, and is now at its lowest level since 2009. How have

the country in the year ending March 2012, down 7.8% since 2011 according to
migration statistics released by the ONS. The decline in immigration coincided

4.8% rise in emigration. As a result, net migration has fallen considerably.
