A bill providing hefty sentences for landlords who rent to undocumented immigrants has been submitted to the Cypriot parliament. According to the proposed law, anyone caught renting or offering accommodation to an undocumented immigrant will face a fine of up to €4,000 and/or 18-months imprisonment.
