Grant the rejected Iraqi asylum seekers in Denmark humanitarian residency permit
Amnesty International Denmark, The Danish UN-association, Rehabilitation and Research Center for Torture Victims (RCT), Safe the Children Denmark and the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Network (EMHRN) call upon the Danish government to ensure that Denmark respects international conventions and the UNHCR warnings not to forcibly return the rejected Iraqi asylum seekers in Denmark to Iraq. We call upon the government to grant the Iraqi refugees humanitarian residency permit for humanitarian as well as security reasons.
