[EU] UNHCR: Comments on the EC Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a European Asylum Support Office

The European Commission presented its Proposal for a Regulation establishing a European Asylum Support Office1 (hereafter EASO) on 18 February 2009, thereby taking forward the Hague Programme’s call for a European office to support cooperation among Member States relating to the Common European Asylum System (CEAS).
