The five national reports here presented provided the basis for EuroMeSCo Paper 79 on New Directions of National Immigration Policies: The Development of the External Dimension and its Relationship with the Euro-Mediterranean Process. Five separate teams studied the current state of affairs regarding the external dimension of national migration policies currently implemented in Italy, France, Spain, Morocco and Egypt.
